Directions:

Page 19-
Problem: How will the height of the starting hill affect the speed of the roller coaster?

Based on this problem, identify the Independent and Dependent variables.

Write a hypothesis according to the directions on page 19

**Note the picture on the bottom of page 19** You will need to refer to these numbers on this picture when answering the lab questions 



Page 20-
**correction- step #5- Move the sliders for Hill 2 and the Loop only (NOT hill 1) all the way to the left (-)

Follow the directions exactly as written on this page- you will only be adjusting the Height of HILL 1
*You will need a ruler to measure the height as you adjust the hill- to do this hold the ruler directly up to the screen and measure in cm.
*As you press play, the speed of the coaster will be given for you to observe and record

All your data will be recorded in the data table on the top of page 22

Page 21-
*Make a graph using the graph grid provided in page 22 and answer all the questions on page 21
